From the photos on Google Earth Panoramio and Facebook, I can see why it must have hurt (more than for ovobius reasons) to be camera-less. Looks beautiful! If not for the vicious biting insects it might be idyllic. The Google Earth photos near Ghor Safi make it seem that driving SUV's through the clean wadi water is considered great fun. I trust the expected deluge down the wadi did not actually appear after the rain? Perhaps it takes a more intense rainfall in the watershed for this to occur?
